Especial Baintha Brakk/Baintha Brakk Special

Resolvi fazer um especial do Baintha Brakk porque estou a gostar muito da forma como este gatinho está a ficar. Tem uma expressão doce e o pêlo está a clarear, com um maior aparecimento do silver. Em certas alturas aquele olhar vago faz-me lembrar a mãe, a Guyane, quando nos olha com superioridade, outras vezes reconheço nele o Bryn, com aquele look desperto e selvagem que sempre nos cativou. É um brincalhão por natureza e nunca está quieto. Para conseguir tirar estas fotos tive de esgotar a memória da máquina e apagar sempre que ele se mexia. Mas valeu a pena. É um gatinho muito, muito bonito.

I've decided to make a Baintha Brakk special because I really love how he is becoming. He has a sweet expression and the fur is now less darken with the spreading of the silver. Certain times, he remindes me, with his distant eyes, his mother, Guyane, with all her superiority complex. Others, I recognize Bryn, with that wild and smart look that always seduced us. He loves to play and never stands still. To get these photos I filled to my machine's capacity and erase the ones when he moved one paw or the rest. It worth while. He is a very nice kitten.

Bem-vinda, Ninhada C!/Welcome Litter C!

A nossa terceira ninhada, e última de 2007, nasceu há pouco mais de uma semana, no sábado, dia 13, com três lindos bebés, filhos do Brynjolf e da Gioconda. O primeiro a nascer foi um macho vermelho sem branco (Chili Pepper), seguiu-se uma tartaruga preta com branco (Clair de Lune) e, por fim, mais uma tartaruga preta com branco «frosted» (Chinook).

Our third and last litter of 2007 was born saturday 13 with three beautiful babies. Brynjolf and Gioconda are the proud parents of a red tabby male (Chili Pepper), a black tortie tabby with white (Clair de Lune) and another black torty tabby «frosted» with white (Chinook).

Faltava a... Ash :-)

No «post» de ontem, faltava obviamente a Ash. Aqui está ela com 14 semanas e 2,3 quilos, uma brincalhona nata e companheira inseparável da mãe, a Indra. Adaptou-se perfeitamente a todos os gatos cá de casa e, quando tem a oportunidade, não se incomoda nada em trazer o pai, por momentos, de volta à juventude.

In yesterday's post, we letf out, obviously, Ash. Here she is, with 14 weeks and 2,3 kilos, a very happy kitten. She loves to play and is always near her mother, Indra. She adapted nicely to the other juniors and adults in our house and, when she has the chance, does all she can to bring her father, for a while, back to his youth.

Ninhada A nas suas novas casas/A Litter in their new homes

Queremos agradecer à Isabel, à Branca, à Inês e à Teresa as fantásticas fotos que nos enviaram dos nossos gatinhos da ninhada A já nas suas novas casa. Eles estão muito bonitos e com pesos muito bons. Com 13 semanas o Angkor estava com 2,335 kgs enquanto o Ashanti pesava 2,150 kgs.

We want to thank Isabel, Branca, Inês and Teresa the wonderful photos they have sent us of A litter kittens in their new homes. They are looking great, and very heavy as we have been told. With 13 weeks Angkor was with 2,335 kgs and Ashanti with 2,150 kgs.

Algumas informações sobre a ninhada/Some info about the litter

Sinto-me um pouco culpado. Até hoje limitei-me a pôr fotos da ninhada na Guyane neste blog, sem que tivesse escrito qualquer texto a contar as suas tropelias, desvendando também a sua personalidade. Mas tenho uma boa desculpa: falta de tempo.

Vou tentar agora. Acho que as coisas «físicas» todos já conhecem, com tantas fotos e com a informação que damos no nosso site, mas a sua personalidade é algo que não salta à vista. Pois bem, o Barbarossa e o Baintha são os gatinhos mais calmos da ninhada, a Babooshka e o Bridei os mais atrevidos. O Bridei adora comer, o Baintha é quase sempre o último a acordar. A «Baboo» gosta de explorar o mundo que o rodeia, o Bridei, se conseguisse, passava a vida fora do quarto a dar a volta à casa :-).

O «Barba» adora festas na barriguinha e deixar-se adormecer no peito de alguém. O Bridei, quando não está a comer, tenta imitá-lo. Todos se adaptaram perfeitamente às caixas das necessidades e à comida sólida, a Guyane fez um óptimo trabalho na sua educação. Estamos muito contentes com todos eles, vão ser, mais uma vez, gatos muito especiais.

I'm feeling a little guilty. Since their birth, I limited my interventions in this blog to put photos of the kittens, without describing them emotionally. But I had a good excuse: lack of time.

I'll try it now. Barbarossa and Baintha are the most calm kittens of the litter, Babooshka and Bridei the explorers. Bridei loves to eat, Baintha is always the last one to wake up. «Baboo» likes a lot to explore the world around her, Bridei, if he could, would like to live his days outside the room running all the house :-)

«Barba» loves to be pet in the belly and letting himself fall asleep in someone's chest. Bridei, when he is not eating, tries to imitate him. All adapted perfectly to the wc boxes and the solid food, Guyane has done a wonderful job. We are very happy with all of them, they are going to be, once again, very special cats.
