Novidades da Fyn / News from Fyn

A Fyn mudou-se há pouco menos de dois anos para Barcelona, onde vive com a Begoña e a família. Foi esterilizada em Novembro e continua a ser o bebé doce de sempre. Herdou do pai Mouro, como outros irmãos, a expressão selvagem e o olhar penetrante. Aqui fica uma foto, com a promessa de mais em breve. O nosso agradecimento à Begoña pelo carinho que tem por esta beldade silver, filha da Guyane.

Fyn has moved to Barcelona two years ago, where she lives with Begoña and family. She was neutered last November and she still is a very sweet baby, She has inherited from her father the wild expression and dazzling look. I leave you with one picture, with the promise of some new ones soon. We thank Begoña for all the love she has for this silver beauty, daughter of Guyane.

Föhr & Kokonoor

O Jorge está a ficar cada vez mais especialista em fotografia. Aqui estão as suas últimas obras-primas com os amigos inseparáveis Shadow Eyes Föhr (filho do Fontemouro e da Guyane) e Shadow Eyes Kokonoor (filha do Barry White e da Iwo Jima). Doce Finis / Sweet Finis

Também temos novas fotos da Shadow Eyes Finisterra para mostrar. A Finis vive no gatil Fini's Place [«o lugar da Finis», em estrangeiro :))] e também teve três bonitos bebés numa verdadeira constelação de estrelas. Aí fica o Antares.

Föhr tem uma nova amiga / Föhr has a new friend

Não me canso de admirar este belo gato, filho do Fontemouro e da Guyane, chamado Shadow Eyes Föhr.  Tem um feitio fantástico com humanos e outros animais, e um look fabuloso. Não me importava de ter apenas Föhrs em todas as ninhadas, porque sabia que a minha tarefa enquanto criador desta raça estaria plenamente defendida :-). Ah, é verdade: ele agora tem uma amiga para brincar. Chama-se Kokonoor :-)!

I can never be tired of admiring this beautiful cat, son of Fontemouro and Guyane, called Shadow Eyes Föhr. He has a wonderful temper with cats and humans, and a fabulous look. I would never mind to have all litters of Föhrs because I then knew my job as a breeder would be defended. :-)  He has now a friend to play. She is called Kokonoor :-)!

Fitz-Roy, 1 ano e meio /Fitz-Roy, 18 months old

Este Natal recebemos fotos do Fitz-Roy, conhecido em S. Tomé e Príncipe como Tomé. À falta de um ou uma gatinha verdadeira, o Tomé recebeu um gatinho de peluche. :-) Obrigada Maria João e Ricardo pelas fotos... um delicioso presente de Natal.

This Christmas we received new photos of Fitz-Roy better known in S. Tomé and Príncipe as Tom As he has no real cat to play with he received a cat/toy . :-) Thanks Maria João and Ricardo for the photos... it was a delicious Christmas present.

Fantástico Föhr / Beautiful Föhr

Muito de Mouro e muito de Guyane, é assim que vemos o impressionante Föhr, que vive com o Jorge em Sintra. Depois de o vermos com acrobata (procurar etiquetas), agora aqui está ele numa situação bem mais calma e não menos impressionante.

A lot of Mouro and a lot of Guyane. This is the way we see the impressive Föhr, who lives with Jorge in Sintra. After seeing him as an acrobat (you can search it in the tags), we now see him in a very more calm situation but no less impressive.

Avós orgulhosos / Proud Grandparents

Ainda não fazemos isto há tanto tempo assim. O que é o mesmo que querer dizer que continuamos apaixonados desde o primeiro dia. E que valorizamos todas as pequenas coisas, como as alegrias que os nossos gatos e os seus filhos nos dão.

A Finisterra, filha do Mouro e da Guyane, teve bebés no gatil Fini's Place (sim, o nome é dedicado a ela :-) ). Quatro machos, todos tabbies pretos, alguns com um pouco de branco. Também a Chinook, filha do Bryn e da Gioconda, já é mamã. Do cruzamento com o D'Artagnan, filho do Mouro e da Indra, nasceram cinco gatinhos, duas fêmeas e três machos.

A todos desejamos muita felicidade!

We are not doing this for that loooooong... That is, we are still in love as we were in the first day. We give a lot of importance to small stuff, like the happiness our cats and their offspring give us every day.

Finisterra, daughter of Fontemouro and Guyane, had four babies in Fini's Place cattery (yes, the cattery was named after her :-) ) . Four males, all black tabbies some with white. Also Chinook is a mum. And D'Artagnan, son of Fontemouro and Indra, a father. Five kittens were born, two females and three males.

To all we wish all the happiness they can have!

Fohr, 1 ano / Fohr, one year old

Outro gatinho bem selvagem, não fosse ele filho de quem é... o Fohr está com 1 ano de idade e continua com imenso pêlo apesar do Verão quente. Não admira que assim esteja, já que tem um tratamento VIP. :-) Obrigada Jorge por tratar este gatinho como um reizinho.

Another very wild kitten, so alike his father... Fohr is now 1 year old and still has a lot of fur, despite the very warm summer. This might be due to the VIP treatment he has. :-) Thank you Jorge for treating Fohr like a real king.

Finisterra, um ano de idade/Finisterra, one year old

A Finisterra (filha da Guyane e do Fontemouro) completou no passado dia 5 um ano de idade. A Finis está a viver no Gatil Fini's Place, com a Manuela e a sua família. Tem como companheiro de aventuras o Robert Plant. Para acompanhar a Finis basta entrar no blog da Manuela. Obrigada a todos pelo carinho que dão a esta «princesinha».

Finisterra (Guyane and Fontemouro's daughter) is now one year old. She is living at Fini's Place cattery with Manuela and her family. She has a lovely friend, Robert Plant. To know more about Finis just go to Manuela's blog. We thank for all the love you give to this sweet «princess».

Ninhada F, um ano / F Litter, one year old

No passado dia 5 de Junho, os gatinhos da ninhada F, filhos da Guyane e do Mouro, cumpriram o primeiro aniversário. Agradecemos aos donos da Fyn, Finisterra, Fanghu, Fellah, Fohr e Fitz-Roy todo o carinho e atenção que lhes dão. (foto da Fyn com seis semanas de idade)

Um espantoso Föhr / An amazing Föhr

Finisterra, 10 meses / Finisterra, 10 months

Recebemos hoje da Manuela fotos da Finisterra com dez meses. A «Finis» é filha da Guyane com o Fontemouro. Obrigado Manuela por tê-la tão bem cuidada.

We've received today some pictures of Finisterra with ten months. «Finis» is a daughter of Guyane and Fontemouro. Thanks Manuela for taking so good care of her.

Exposição da Arruda

Estivemos este fim-de-semana na exposição da Arruda dos Vinhos. Levámos a Indra, a Ash e o Barry, e ajudámos a Fanghu na sua primeira participação. Na realidade, correu tudo muito bem.

A Ash conseguiu o ponto que lhe faltava para ser campeã e uma nomeação para Best in Show por parte de uma juíz cujos conhecimentos muito valorizamos, a finlandesa Satu Hamalainen; a Indra garantiu o segundo e o terceiro CAGCIB; e o Barry White acrescentou duas nomeações para Best in Show ao seu currículo, somando cinco em seis possíveis.

A Fanghu, apesar de algo tímida, conseguiu bons comentários e duas nomeações para Best in Show!

Fellah (8 meses/8 meses)

Estivemos com a Fellah também há poucos dias e, como de costume, tentámos tirar umas fotografias. Esta linda tartaruga silver, também filha da Guyane e do Fontemouro, divide o tempo entre Lisboa e a Ilha Terceira, onde reencontra os também nossos Adad (filho da Indra e do Bryn da primeira ninhada) e a Clair de Lune (filha também do Bryn mas com a Gioconda). Ficámos muito contentes por estarmos uns minutos com ela. Parabéns Joana, por mantê-la tão bonita!

We were also with Fellah some days ago, and, as usually, we tried to take some photos. This beautiful tortie silver, also daughter of Guyane and Fontemouro, divides her days between Lisbon and Terceira island (Azores), where she reencounters also our Adad (daughter of Brynjolf and Indra) and Clair de Lune (daughter of Brynjolf and Gioconda). We were very happy to be some minutes with her. Congratulations Joana for keeping her so beautiful.

Fanghu (8 meses/8 months)

A Fanghu fez-nos uma visita aqui há pouco mais de uma semana e pudemos ver que está a crescer muito bem e de uma forma muito harmoniosa. É filha da Guyane e do Fontemouro, tem oito meses, parecendo ter herdado a expressão da mãe e o look selvagem do pai. Agradecemos à Ana a dedicação a esta gatinha, que foi sempre uma das que me despertou mais curiosidade e expectativas quanto ao futuro.

Fanghu has visited a few days ago and we all could see how well she is growing, all in harmony. She is daughter of Guyane and Fontemouro, has eight months, and she seems to have gained her mother expression with her father wild look. We thank Ana her dedication to this kitten, who was always one has left me with more curiositity and expectations regarding her future.
