Dartagnan & Chinook

A Ana e o Nuno enviaram-nos fotos do D'artagnan e da Chinook, dois gatinhos Shadow Eyes que integraram há já algum tempo a sua família. O «Darta» é filho do Fontemouro e da Indra, enquanto a Chinook descende do Brynjolf e da Gioconda. Obrigado aos dois por os tratarem tão bem.

Ana and Nuno have send us some pictures of D'artagnan and Chinook, two Shadow Eyes kittens who are since some time ago part of their family. «Darta» is son of Fontemouro and Indra, while Chinook is daughter of Brynjolf and Gioconda. Thank you both for taking so good care of them.

Avós orgulhosos / Proud Grandparents

Ainda não fazemos isto há tanto tempo assim. O que é o mesmo que querer dizer que continuamos apaixonados desde o primeiro dia. E que valorizamos todas as pequenas coisas, como as alegrias que os nossos gatos e os seus filhos nos dão.

A Finisterra, filha do Mouro e da Guyane, teve bebés no gatil Fini's Place (sim, o nome é dedicado a ela :-) ). Quatro machos, todos tabbies pretos, alguns com um pouco de branco. Também a Chinook, filha do Bryn e da Gioconda, já é mamã. Do cruzamento com o D'Artagnan, filho do Mouro e da Indra, nasceram cinco gatinhos, duas fêmeas e três machos.

A todos desejamos muita felicidade!

We are not doing this for that loooooong... That is, we are still in love as we were in the first day. We give a lot of importance to small stuff, like the happiness our cats and their offspring give us every day.

Finisterra, daughter of Fontemouro and Guyane, had four babies in Fini's Place cattery (yes, the cattery was named after her :-) ) . Four males, all black tabbies some with white. Also Chinook is a mum. And D'Artagnan, son of Fontemouro and Indra, a father. Five kittens were born, two females and three males.

To all we wish all the happiness they can have!

D'Artagnan e Chinook/D'Artagnan and Chinook

A Ana e o Nuno mandaram-nos novas fotos do D'Artagnan (filho da Indra e do Mouro) e da Chinook (filha da Gioconda e do Brynjolf). O primeiro está com um ano de idade, a Chinook com um ano e meio. Pelas fotos vê-se como são ternurento sobretudo entre eles. Obrigada Ana e Nuno por os terem sempre tão bem cuidados e pelas frequentes notícias dos dois.

Ana and Nuno send us some photos of D'Artagnan ( Indra and Fontemouro's son) and Chinook (Gioconda and Brynjolf's daughter). The first one is one year old while Chinook is one and an half. By the photos people can see how tender they are specially towards one another. Thank you Ana and Nuno for having them so well treated and for all the news about these two kittens.

Dianthus, D'Artagnan e Chinook

A Ana enviou-nos fotos novas do D'Artagnan e da Chinook, e a Rosa fez o mesmo com a Dianthus. A «Chino», uma tartaruga preta tabby mackerel com branco, é filha do Bryn e da Gioconda, enquando os irmãos «Darta», azul tabby blotched, e a «Didi», preta tabby blotched, são filhos do Mouro e da Indra. Filhos de peixe...

Ninhada C, um ano/Litter C, one year old

No passado dia 13 os gatinhos da ninhada C completaram um ano de vida. Aqui ficam algumas fotos enviadas pelos donos. As da Chinook foram recebidas esta semana, as da Clair foram tiradas em Agosto e as do Chili são de Junho. Não temos tido notícias do Chili desde aí. Acreditamos que o «nosso» vermelhito esteja bem, já que as más notícias correm sempre muito rápido. Agradecemos à Ana e ao Luís todas as notícias que nos dão da Chini e da Clair, bem como todas as fotos que nos enviam.

The kittens from litter C celebrated one year old October 13th. The pictures of Chinook were sent this week. The ones from Clair were taken last August. Chili's pictures are from June. Since this time we haven't received any more news from Chili. We believe he is ok, because bad news always travel very fast. We thank Ana and Luís for all the news they give us of Chini and Clair and for all the photos they are always sending us.

Chinook & D'Artagnan

Recebemos fotos novas da Chinook e do D'Artagnan a meio de Julho, o que significa que, de certo modo, estamos em dívida na sua publicação neste blog. A «Chino» é filha do Brynjolf e da Gioconda, enquanto o «Darta» descende do Fontemouro e da Indra. Imaginem uma casa virada do avesso por dois pequenos e muito meigos diabos da Tasmânia e terão o seu novo habitat. A vida da Ana e do Nuno nunca mais foi a mesma :-). Obrigado pelos cuidados que têm com eles e pelas fotos, claro.

We have received some new photos of Chinook and D'Artagnan in the middle of July, which means we are a little bit late in publishing them here in the blog. «Chino» is Brynjolf and Gioconda's daughter, while «Darta» is the son of Fontemouro and Indra. If you can, imagine a house turned upside down by two very tender tasmanian devils and you'll find their new habitat. The life of Ana and Nuno was never more the same :-). Thank you for all the care of our babies, and the photos too, of course.

É um avião, é a Gioconda... Não, é a Chinook! It's a plane, it's Gioconda, no it's Chinook

A Chinook veio visitar-nos na semana passada (Sim, é mesmo ela, não é a mãe Giocionda). Nota-se que está muito feliz com a Ana e o Nuno. Foi muito bem recebida pelos outros gatos, sobretudo pela Baboo e pela Marea, que tinham mais alguém com quem brincar.

A Chino, no entanto, não foi embora sozinha. Levou com ela o nosso Dartagnan, e a dupla promete. Já avisei a Ana que o melhor mesmo é segurarem a casa inteira :-), face à pressa com que o Darta tem em fazer tudo.

Sabemos que a «peste» não poderia ficar em melhores mãos. Obrigado aos seus novos donos mais uma vez.

Chinook has visited us last week. Yes, I'm serious, it's really her, not her mother Gioconda. She shows to be very happy with Ana and Nuno. She was very well received by the others, who had someone else to play with. Chino didn't left alone, she took with her our Dartagnan. I advised them to ensure all house :-), because Darta is always in a hurry.

We know this «menace» could not be in better hands. We wish to thank theirs owners once again for taking so good care of our kittens.

Chinook aos 6,5 meses/Chinook with 6 and half months

A Ana enviou-nos fotos recentes da Chinook, agora com mais ou menos seis meses e meio. Lembro que esta gatinha nasceu «frosted», ou seja com a cor do pêlo congelada. Era cinzenta quando nasceu, agora está uma bela tartaruga preta tabby mackerel. É uma cópia perfeita da mãe :-).

Ana have sent us some recent photos of Chinook, now with six and a half months. I remember all that she was born «frosted», with the color of her fur distorted as if it would have been burned by ice. She was grey then, now she is a beautiful torbie tabby mackerel. A perfect copy of her mother :-).

Chinook (4 meses)/Chinook (4 months)

A Ana e o Nuno também nos enviaram fotos da Chinook, com 4 meses. Esta gatinha nasceu com a cor congelada (frosted) e parece que finalmente está a mostrar a sua cor real. Uma quase cópia da mãe, a Gioconda.

Ana and Nuno also have send us photos of Chinook, with 4 months. This kitten was "frosted" when born and it seems that only now is showing her true colours. She is a copy of her mother, Gioconda.

Chinook na sua nova casa/Chinook in her new home

A Chinook também já está na sua nova casa. Foi viver para Almada e estamos muito contentes por termos encontrado uns donos bem especiais para um gatinha tão especial. Temos a certeza de que será muito, muito feliz. Obrigado, Ana e Nuno por tudo (e sobretudo por estas primeiras fotos). :-)

Chinook is already in her new home. She is now living at the South, in Almada, and we are very happy to have found such a special owner for a very special kitten. We are sure she will be very happy. Thanks for all, Ana and Nuno (mainly for this photos). :-)
